33-year old SSD-AUSn center Mangok Mathiang (208-C-1992) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Tigers BB Kigali and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 32 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Giants (#6, 0-5), the league's bottom-ranked team 102-89. It allowed Tigers to consolidate first place in the Basketball Africa League. Tigers have a solid 4-1 record. Mathiang just recently signed at Tigers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Louisville graduate has very impressive stats this year. Mathiang leads league in rebounds with 16.4rpg. Mathiang is in league's top in and averages solid 1.2bpg and 54.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Craig Randall II (193-SG-1996). He is American guard in his first season at Tigers. In the last game Randall II recorded an impressive 54 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course Tigers BB Kigali cruised to a 104-92 relatively comfortable win over Dar City (2-3). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Randall II is one of the most experienced players at Tigers and similarly like Mangok Mathiang has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 36.3ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 4.5rpg and 5.3apg. Former University of Tennessee at Martin star Randall II is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Childe Dundao (169-PG-1998) of league's second-best Atletico Petroleos de Luanda. Dundao scored 20 points and passed 7 assists. He was a key player of P.Luanda, leading his team to a 100-75 easy win against #4 ranked Dar City in a game of the week. P.Luanda is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Dundao has a great season in Basketball Africa League. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.8ppg (9th best) and assists with 4.8apg (6th best).
